This business is a leading international supplier, producer and distributor of food ingredient products who have grown an amazing reputation, team and brand within the market and supply customers in Food Manufacturing, Retail, Foodservice and Wholesale.
The team is hugely passionate and energetic with a strong set of international operations and businesses.
A new opportunity has arisen based in their UK operation to join as an Account Manager to handle, manage and develop their Food Manufacturing customers.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts and fostering strong relationships to drive business growth. Your role will involve analysing sales data, communicating with clients, and demonstrating leadership to achieve sales targets.
A SNAPSHOT OF THE ROLE
Develop and qualify commercial opportunities, chase referrals and prepare and action strategies to grow revenue and customers
Develop forecasting accuracy and help build and develop customer databases
Plan and conduct direct marketing activities
Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
Conduct product training
Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
Participate in sales events
Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
THE CANDIDATE
You will have some proven track record in food sales
Commercial experience with frozen ingredients would be preferred
A natural ability to develop and grow relationships and accounts
A confident and competent presenter well organised with an ability to work under pressure, and work to targets and deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills
Good planning, organisational and execution skills
Excellent networking and communication skills
An interest in food/cooking is essential
THE PACKAGE
Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday based in the UK kent head office with the team.
Salary up to £50,000 – depending on experience
